The Swiss Pavilion has mounted a proper ski lift on their roof. How cool is that?!?

This is our neighbor across the street - Ireland. Rumor has it that there is supposed to be an Irish pub within the vicinity, but this has not yet been confirmed..

Welcome to the site that will hold your hand through this years mind-blowing event that "belongs to all human kind" - The World EXPO 2010 in Shanghai, China. We have decided to relocate from Løkka, Norway in order to dive head first and fully immerse ourselves in this gigantic architectural and cultural pool.

So what on earth is this, "World Expo"? Well, I suppose you could say it is a six-month event where 192 countries and organisations get together in order to show how they can shine. By this we mean impressive architecture, innovative design, grand cultural events and expressions. The Expo will also serves as a platform for networking for anyone who wishes (especially money-making machines who sees China as the growing market it is...).

As China proved in the Beijing Olympics, they really know how to put on a show, and this is no exception. This particular Expo will be the largest in history with 192 countries and 50 organisatons. The area will total 5.28 square km in central Shanghai. What other city has the capacity/power to do this. Lets just say we are looking forward to the fireworks at the opening show! We hope you enjoy our blog the next six months.
